In the past, a large proportion of small business owners have operated as sole proprietors, failing to plan,
to keep adequate records, and to operate as professional business managers. For some, the consequences have been disastrous.
Incorporating an entity
In order to maximize your tax savings and minimize your exposure to personal
liability, you should consider setting up a corporation or company to take
advantage of all of the tax breaks and legal protections that federal, state and
local laws provide.
We can help take the mystery out of creating your company, and setting up the systems and processes you will need to get your business up and running quickly and easily. More importantly, we can help you define your dream in terms of concrete goals, then work with you to map out how to make those dreams achievable. The result - a roadmap you can follow.

Micro Business Systems Consulting
If you are already in business, Congratulations! Most small businesses are built on a dream by people who are technically excellent and who know they can build a great real estate portfolio, build a better product or provide a better solution. They grow these businesses rapidly, based on their knowledge, timing and hard work: then they are stuck.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- I work harder and harder, but I'm still swamped.
- I have help, but they can't make their own decisions. I have to get involved in every little problem.
- I'm starting to hate my customers. All I ever hear are complaints. What happened to the nice people?
- I'm scared to grow because I can't handle any more workload, but if we don't grow we'll die.
- They keep telling me to put systems in place, but I don't know what or how.
These situations and many more can be improved dramatically by streamlining your business systems, processes and practices.
Micro business systems consulting is designed to help Owners like you with many of the issues plaguing small businesses. We can work with you through three phases:
Business Assessment, Systems Streamlining and Follow up.
Business Assessment
We talk with you and any staff you employ to find out where the pain is. Chances are there are multiple areas that need attention. The objective is to find out what has been done, what hasn't been done and what the priorities are. We'll ask about your company philosophy, where you are today and where you want to take the business. What issues you see, what is most frustrating or is having the greatest impact on your growth. We'll ask if you have documentation on your company values, goals, jobs, workflow, financials and customer feedback, and whether or not your employees have ready access to this information. At the end of this assessment, we will determine with you what the next steps should be, based on your priorities.
Systems Streamlining
This is where the hard work is done - filling in the gaps in your systems and processes, re-organizing, helping you with foundational issues such as values, vision, and goals, or helping you build and implement a simple business plan. We can work with you and your teams to tackle your issues, or teach you how to lead your own meetings with your teams to get results.
Follow up
In this final meeting, we will review what has been done, and determine where issues may arise in future as you grow.
Planning for the Future Although all of us are told to create a business plan before we start our businesses, few of us actually take the time to establish concrete goals or create operational plans. More often than not, we have a dream of financial freedom or a guess that we need $4,000 a month to survive.
We can help you plan for the future once your business is up and running. We will work with you to establish realistic goals based on where you want to be in 2 to 3 years time, then help you to map out the steps that will get you there, complete with timelines and resources. If you are committed to making your dreams come true, this is a vital service.
